Adults

• Aged 65 years and over.
• Aged 18–64 with certain long‑term health conditions (e.g., chronic heart, lung, kidney, liver or neurological disease; diabetes; BMI ≥40; severe mental illness).
• Pregnant at any stage.
• Living in a long‑stay residential care home.
• Carers or those receiving a carer’s allowance.
• Living with someone who has a severely weakened immune system.
• Frontline health & social care staff.

Children & young people

• All school‑age children (offered mainly via schools).
• Pre‑school children aged 2 and 3 on 31 August (usually via GP). Some pharmacies may offer this service — please check availability with Ross Pharmacy.
• Children aged 6 months to 17 years in a clinical risk group.

Some child cohorts are not vaccinated in pharmacy settings; ask our team for advice.

Before your appointment

• Wear loose clothing for easy access to your upper arm.
• Bring your medication list. Let us know about allergies or if you feel unwell.
• We’ll complete a short clinical screening to confirm eligibility and suitability.

On the day

• The vaccination usually takes only a few minutes.
• We’ll provide aftercare advice and answer any questions.
• If needed, we can help you book your next dose.
